Today's topic of interest is going to be stuff having to do with Harry Potter.
I know a lot of people who would agree that Harry Potter is waaaay better than Twilight. Just throwing that out there.
Do you want to know what this girl did a couple days ago at school? She wore her Gryffindor scarf all day! Now, many people may not think that this is kind of surprising. First off, I normally tend to follow school rules. And going to a catholic all-girls school, there are a lot of rules having to do with dress code and whatnot. But I figured I might as well have at least a little fun my senior year. So, I wore my scarf.
And I didn't do this just for funsies, I did it partly for the reason that I had a cold and I wanted to keep my neck warm. Smart, right? But I also wanted to do it to see how many teacher would tell me to take it off or how many would compliment it. And the results were surprising! No one told me to take it off, I got about two or three teacher compliments.
I must admit, though, my scarf wearing was not nearly as funny as "My Life As Shell" writer Michelle's wearing a zebra-print Snuggie all day to school. That was pretty humorous.
Well, back to Harry-related stuff.
I am SUPER excited for HP7P2 to come out on DVD. I made a promise to myself to get it the day it comes out. And I'm sure many people have made the same promise.
It's just such a good series! Dramatic and magical and funny, it's perfect.
By the way, I know I'm not the biggest fan. I'm just a big fan. Somewhere in the middle, I'm sure.
In my opinion, one of the best features of the Harry Potter phenomenon is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida. Every detail of the park is spot-on. I was in awe when I went, and I felt as if I was there. The only problem was the over-population of this world. Thus, there were far too many people there. But it was still amazing!
It's really sad that this is so difficult to see. It says, "Now, once you've got a hold of your broom, I want you to mount it. Grip it tight. You don't want to be sliding off the end." "That's what she said."
I'm done now. Bye.
